What an exceptional night on Georgian Bay!
Being able to see the Northern Lights with the naked eye
was probably a first for me.
They didn't last long, but they were so beautiful!
I think being hyped up on adrenaline on the way back
to the Salt Docks (and my car), really helped me get there. On the way back, walking, sliding, I stepped into an ice fishing hole and my left leg went down. No idea what my right leg did, smashed my left elbow, hurt my shin on the right leg, and did something to my fingers and got a soaker. ( I haven't had a soaker for a long time!)
It happened so quickly!
I thought I had found a soft spot and went through the ice!
Pretty lucky to get home in one piece. Tylenol, do your magic!
