Today we honor the Mothers who have lost their children ...
Every year on the first Sunday of May we recognize International Bereaved Mother’s Day.
This includes all Mothers who have experienced the loss of a child.
Today we recognize, honor, respect, & celebrate the Mothers who have...
Experienced stillbirth, S.I.D.S, or other types of infant loss
Experienced miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, or other types of pregnancy loss
Had their child taken away from them
Been unable to conceive
Lost a child in any way or form - no matter the age
Motherhood can be difficult as it is, when one is met
with the pain of losing their child, the pain can be unimaginable.

The grief & sorrow a Mother endure can last months, years, or a lifetime.

Each Mother's experience is individual, but it important to remember ultimately we are not alone.

Today we celebrate Mothers & remember children gone too soon.

Although today can be a sensitive day, it is a time that encourages healing.

It is a bittersweet day as we mourn our loss but also feel thankful for their lives
& the joy they brought us, even for a short time.

Today we honor our women without children in their arms as Mothers.

Let them know you think of them today & on Mother’s Day,
Recognize them as Mothers, Make them feel seen & cared for.

Listen to their stories, call their babies by given names, be supportive ....

To all my bereaved Mothers, you are not forgotten, your babies are not forgotten,
& your dreams of Motherhood are not forgotten.
