Mercury - symbol of communication
and the processes of the mind
- enters fiery, opinionated and passionate Sagittarius.
In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology,
Sagittarius is Sekhmet, the lion headed goddess
who is a potent catalyst for change.
Mercury is Thoth, the Sacred Scribe.
These two are among the oldest deities
in the Egyptian pantheon.
They represent archetypal forces
– the power of passion to change reality
(Sekhmet) and consciousness
directed with intention (Thoth).
Together, these two have a compelling impact.
Those with Mercury in Sagittarius
are known for emphatically speaking their minds;
these people do not shy away from an argument.

in the political and social arena will intensify,

to the Saturn/Pluto conjunction
