Here in the North Country it was the night
before the actual Full Moon Time but Snowy Owl
and Shooting Star always liked to see Sister Moon
in her fullness as they received her message.

As they climbed the path to the Star Temple the night air
was crisp and a cool wind was at their backs.

There were even more fallen leaves covering the path
than there had been at the last New Moon.

Luna had already risen in the east casting silver blue shadows
on the leaves giving them another worldly glow.

The air crackled with a sense of excitement.

The sisters felt this was to be an important message.

When the young women entered the Star Temple
they were greeted by a fierce Goddess dressed in a red leather tunic
and high black boots.

She had long red hair tied back and over her shoulder
was a sling filled with arrows.

Her eyes had an intensity as she stared at the sisters.

Then she smiled and Snowy owl and Shooting Star
knew they had found a friend.

Sister Moon began to speak “This is Eris, warrior Goddess,
sister to Red Warrior Star.

She is the keeper of justice, fairness, and the right use of will.

But she also is the Goddess of discontent and conflict
when change is being ignored.

When you ignore her gifts she creates chaos
where the only solution is to find new ways of doing things.

She has been invited to this Full Moon party
because to not invite her would be unwise to say the least.”

Sister Moon continued “I am travelling with Eris for the next few hours.

Together we are supporting you to identity where there is conflict
and discord in your relationships and find a way to create balance.

And remember when you are feeling those intense emotions
it is because you are not anchored in your Sacred Center.

This Full Moon is about finding that place of inner harmony
within and being the peaceful warrior in the world fighting
for true justice, equality, and fairness for all.”

When astronomer Mike Brown and his team discovered
Dwarf planet Eris in Jan 2005 they nicknamed her Xena,
princess warrior, after the title character in the TV series
of the same name.

Xena fought for the underdog by challenging
those in authority who were misusing their power.

In her book “The Future in the Stars” astrologer Allison Chester-Lambert
quotes the right up for the show.

“In a time of ancient gods, warlords, and kings, a mighty Princess
is forged in the heat of battle.

Her Name is Xena, and only her courage and passion
can restore order to a world in turmoil, a world crying out for a hero.”

At a similar time when Erin was discovered a group
of Spanish astronomers also discover another Dwarf planet
which was named Haumea (Hawaiian Creation Goddess).

What is now known as the Kuiper belt planetary system
was emerging.

Planets beyond Pluto.

This created conflict (Eris) as both groups
claimed theirs was the 10th planet.

To solve the issue Pluto was demoted in 2006
from planet to Dwarf planet.

In Sept 2006 Xena was officially named Eris
by the Mike Brown group.

She lived up to her reputation of discord.

Pluto may never forgive her for demoting him.

We will see in 2020 what the fallout is when Eris
and Pluto square each other.

The potential for conflict is very strong
at this Full Moon but so is the potential for healing,
transformation, and release.

Venus at 06 degrees Scorpio (shedding the old)
is travelling with Mercury at 13 degrees Scorpio
(transformed thinking).

She guides the Sun at 20 degrees Libra
(inner balance and harmony).

She is also opposite Uranus Rx at 05 degrees Taurus
(breaking free from what is no longer of value and embracing what is).

Mars at 06 degrees Libra (peaceful warrior) is the guide
for astrological Earth and the Moon at 20 degrees Aries
and Eris Rx at 23 degrees Aries (inspired new vision).

They are the relationship planets and are still in the new phase
of the cycle that began on Aug 24 in the sign of Virgo
(crossing the Rainbow Bridge of Healing into Wholeness).
Mars (assertive action) is Inconjunct
(adjustment and letting go of what no longer works)
Uranus (breaking through to the new way of being
in relationship especially the relationship to self).

But that is the tip of the iceberg.

Pluto is at 20 degrees Capricorn
(transformation of society and personal power in the world).

He creates a T Square (feeling backed into a corner)
with the Libra Sun and Earth/Moon and Eris in Aries.

This is a Powerful Opportunity for deep healing
and transformation.

Pay attention to what is going on at this Full Moon
for it is a preview of the Pluto/Jupiter/Eris dynamic in 2020.

Breakthrough or breakdown. Jupiter at 20 degrees Sagittarius
(focus on your spiritual vision) is also prominent at this Full Moon.

He too creates a T Square (finding new ways of doing things)
this time with Neptune Rx at 16 degrees Pisces
(illusion or illumination) and the asteroid Juno
at 21 degrees Virgo (relationship healing).

The good news is Jupiter is trine
(removal of obstacles and creating harmony)
the Earth/Moon and Eris and sextile
(positive new opportunities)
the Libra Sun (balance in relationship).

Pluto is trine (ease and flow) Juno (relationship)
and sextile Neptune (connecting to the truth).

As always the Universe supports us to break free.

Mercury at 13 degrees Scorpio (transformed focus)
is trine (removal of obstacles) the North Node
at 12 degrees Cancer (new spiritual directions).

One more note about Eris.

In Greek myth she was not invited to a grand party
but she went anyway.

She caused a quarrel that instigated the Trojan War.

It would be wise to invite her to your party.

She then becomes an ally and supports you
to take purposeful action in your life.
