Every year around February 14th,
a day celebrated by many as Valentine’s Day,
the Sun is astrologically conjunct a star named Sadr,
located in the Heart of the Swan (Cygnus).

Five stars in this constellation are recognized to form a cross ,
an asterism called the Northern Cross.

The imagery is similar to a Rose on a Cross (see above).

The gnostic teachings of Valentinus may also
suggest additional hidden layers to this particular holiday.

Five or so days later, the Earth aligns with a star called Regulus,
in the Heart of the Lion .
