For the 26th degree of Gemini, rising on the Ascendant:

Janduz:

In the foreground, at the right, two merchants are quarreling, stamping their feet and hanging their sticks on the ground to enforce their opinions".
Summarized interpretation: Dishonesty and egotistical emotions endanger spirituality. There is danger of wounding, or being wounded by quarrels.

Gentlemans- agreements should be honored.

Rudhyar:

" Frost-covered, lace-like trees against a clear winter sky".

Summarized interpretation:

When the economic situation is frozen, the beauty of Nature
causes awe and/or shock.

FIXED STARS (within 3 degree orb of the Asc. @ 25. Gemini 17"):

The Pole Star (27.54 Gemini) - Alpha Ursa minoris

- is the main star of the small BEAR, situated on the Tail. (See photo).

Per Ebertin-Hoffman, it has a Saturn Ian nature,
combined with qualities of the Sun and Venus.

At 66 degrees of latitude, it sits far outside the ecliptic
in which the planets move.

Longtitudinally, it closely conjoins Betelgeuze, Alpha Oronis,
the main star of Orion. It serves navigators as a guide
because it revolves around the northern polar axis.

"The Chinese considered the Pole Star as
the great Honorable Lord of the Heavens.

In a relevant position in the natal chart,
it gives spiritual powers to the bearer,
who will be highly respected. ...

If it is conjunction planets in the angles,
the native will have a good sense of discretion
and is able to follow his or her instincts.

The native clearly recognizes his or her aims,
and will pursue and achieve them".

(No planet conjoins the Asc., but B.M.Lilith is tightly conjoined
@ 27.11 Gemini in this chart).

Betelgeuze (28.0 Gemini) , Alpha Orionis
- corresponds to the meaning of Mars, with a touch of Mercury.

"Placed in the angles, preferment, luck, success,
and even everlasting fame are promised.

On the Asc. and conjunction Mars,
there is danger of death by lightening, fire, explosion, firearms,
or similar things".

(Mars does not conjoin the Asc. in this chart,
but does cast a very tight, approaching sesquiqradratic aspect
from the 9th Hs., possibly indicating adjustments required (SSQ)
and dangers due to 9th Hs. matters (law, religion, distant lands, etc.).
