Here in the North Country as Snowy Owl and Shooting Star
climbed the path to the Star Temple the night was very cold and dark.

It had rained heavily the previous night and the Standing Ones
had shed the last of their leaves.

Grandfather Sun had entered the Freeze Up Time
a few days ago and the time of release and transformation
    was upon them.

The sisters could feel an intense energy filling the air.

They knew Sister Moon’s message would reflect that.

When they settled in the center of the sacred space Sister Moon spoke.

“This Moon cycle will be a time of intensity, deep healing,
and release that leads to transformation.

Even if you resist the process it will happen anyway.

So best to let go and flow. The Transformer

and the Red Warrior Star are saying it is time

to find new ways of doing things.

The Messenger planet is saying let go
of what no longer serves you and Evening Star
is saying listen to your wise self as you release
what no longer is of value.

The Awakener is saying it is time to finally release
who you are not and breakthrough to a new way of being.”

Yes the energy has been intense since Mercury
at 11 degrees Scorpio entered his retrograde shadow
    on Oct 11.

The intensity increased when the Sun entered Scorpio on Oct 23/24.

And now we have the New Moon at 04 degrees Scorpio
(deep healing) opposite (tug of war) the astrological Earth
travelling with Uranus at 04 degrees Taurus
(breaking free from what is no longer of value).

The New Moon is ruled by Pluto (the Transformer)
    at 20 degrees Capricorn
(tearing down the old structures that no longer work)
and Pluto is squared (finding new ways of doing things)
by Mars at 15 degrees Libra
(trying to find inner balance amid chaos).

Mars is the Soul Centered ruler of Scorpio.

He in turn is square the North Node
at 10 degrees Cancer and the South Node
    at 10 degrees Capricorn
(releasing patterns from the past that prevent us
    from moving forward).

    But there is more intensity.

Venus is at 24 degrees Scorpio (deep intuitive knowing)
travelling with Pallas Athene at 25 Scorpio (spiritual wisdom)
and Mercury at 26 degrees Scorpio
(identifying what needs to be transformed).

    So this is good intensity.

They are opposite Vesta at 23 degrees Taurus (at-oneness- within).

This opposition asks us to find inner balance
by connecting to our Sacred Center.

    Pluto in Capricorn (personal empowerment)
is trine (removal of obstacles) Vesta
and sextile (new opportunities opening up)
    Venus, Pallas, and Mercury.

Mercury goes retrograde Oct 31 and moves direct Nov 20.

The theme of healing, release, transformation,
    and rebirth is the focus.

Our Animal Totem guide for all the planets in Scorpio is Snake,
shedding the old, transformation and rebirth.

For the Earth, Uranus, and Vesta in Taurus our guide is Beaver,
releasing the old and building the new.

They are reversed for the Southern Hemisphere.

For all of us the Sacred Totem for Scorpio is The Phoenix,
    resurrection and new beginnings.

The Clan Mother who guides Scorpio is Walks Tall Woman,
    the keeper of new pathways.

She teaches us to how to Walk Our Truth.

(The 13 Original Clan Mothers by Jamie Sams).

    I am experiencing situations
that require finding new ways of doing things.

My motto is one step at a time.

    Namaste and blessings,

    Dale
