    Elements in Triangles and Proposal

    by Annie
    www.starseeds.net

Been reading up on Elemental magick and a little research on Aristotle's proposed elements. I think there is two types of aether- light and dark.
    DiamondofLIfe.

    ElementPyramid.

    ElementSeparated1.

    ElementSeparated2.

All fundamentals of each element has some kind of additive and subtractive trait. Take water as an example, it represents birth (+) and death (-).

    TheHumanBody.

    TakeAway.

I think the hexagon that I posted is somewhat similar to reference in SpiritScience's vid
that touches on the Lucifer experiment lightly.

To acknowledge both light and shadow within the human body is important,
as well in positive and negative in emotions/mind/spirit.

To simplify + "to add", - "to subtract". One needs to understand that in structure,
one aspect of an aspect can reverse roles randomly in order to sustain balance.

To cling to one aspect will only create imbalance. o0 instead of OO.

This is just sort of touching the surface of something I'm planning to dive deeper into

but I would LOVE to get feedback or thoughts.

Wouldn't want to work on this alone, y'know? :p

As a bonus enjoy the image below... upside down and upwards pentagram on top of each other encased within a hexagram.

Although I'm sure people here might be more familiar with the name of that image, probably lol
    HexagonStars.

EDIT: Efffff..... forgot to add some other thoughts to it.

Based on creation stories I think water and air were the first elements and then fire and earth came later to Earth.

The importance of masculine (m,M) and (f,F) is also important to understand.

When separated, each element is androgynous in their own nature.

ALSO, imagine the diamond in the first image that I posted within a circle, turning.

Fire and Air being the nature that pushes in one direction on the top

while Water and Earth pushing in one direction on the bottom.

The encompassing circle of the Ying/Yang symbol.

In Wicca/Hermetic philosophies... Air is East, Fire is South, Water is West, and Earth is North.

    • Great post annie.. thanks for sharing..

      Besides working with the four elements - fire, water, air, earth plus the fifth element which is spirit/ether;

alchemists also work with these three metals - mercury, sulfur and salt,

with some focusing on mercury and sulfur.

This is what alchemists call the Tria Prima.

The pairing of sulfur and mercury strongly corresponds to the male and female pairing.

Sulfur is the male principle, having the ability to create change.

It has the qualities of hot and dry, the same as the element of fire,

and is associated with the sun, as the male principle.
      KUBESymbolsandColorsoftheFourElements.
Mercury is the passive female principle.

While sulfur causes change, it needs something to actually shape and change in order to accomplish anything.

The relationship is also commonly compared to the planting of a seed:

the plant springs from the seed, but only if there is earth to nourish it.

The earth equates to the passive female principle.

Mercury is also known as quicksilver because it is one of very few metals to be liquid at room temperature.

So it can easily be shaped by outside forces.

It is silver in color, and silver is associated with womanhood and the moon,

while gold is associated with the sun and man.

Mercury possesses the qualities of cold and moist,

the same qualities ascribed to the element of water.

These qualities are opposite those of sulfur.

In this alchemical imagery, the red king and the white queen

also sometimes represent sulfur and mercury.

All of the female and male aspects within us all has to be united and balanced in this process.
      11_02_splendor.
Salt is an element of substance and physicality.

Through alchemical processes, the salt is broken down through dissolving,

purified and eventually reformed into pure salt,

the result of the right combination/interactions between mercury and sulfur.

This creates the purpose of alchemy is to strip down the self to nothingness..

through the gaining of self knowledge (Knowing Thyself) about one's nature and one's relation

to the divine the soul is reformed, the impurities expunged,

into a united, pure and undivided thing..this is the purpose of alchemy.

Salt, mercury and sulfur are the same to the concepts of body, spirit and soul.

      Body is the physical self.

Soul is the immortal, spiritual part of the person that defines the person...

Regarding the triangles in alchemy, here's an image of the four elements

taken from a previous post regarding the meaning of the six pointed star - David's Star:

      AlchemyChart.
      these elements include Fire,
the masculine element of action and determination,
portrayed by a triangle facing the heavens.

the masculine element of air which deals with communication and intelligence is also a triangle,

facing upward, but with a horizontal line symbolizing the clouds at the top of the mountain.

      these are ruled by levity.

the feminine element of water is represented by a triangle facing the earth

like the rivers flowing from the grounds.

earth is the other feminine element that is represented by a triangle pointing down

with a horizontal line representing the surface of the earth.

these two elements are ruled by the principal of gravity.

putting these together we get the four elements represent that Great Work in alchemy,

which means harmony balance and peace.

these noble concepts are represented by the star of david.

it is the same as the yin-yang symbolism in eastern alchemy

which represents the balance of the feminine and the masculine,

when the planets would align in this formation (as it's already happening)

shows that we are headed to a time of great transformation

that would eventually lead to harmony balance and protection.

I am not familiar in how the triangles are created to reverse itself within the hexagram

      the last image you posted.
