My father died of lung cancer in 1969.

The available treatments at that time were
SURGERY, CHEMO and RADIOTHERAPY.

The prognosis for lung cancer in 1969 was ABYSMAL.

Fast forward over 50 years to 2021.

The standard treatment for lung cancer is
SURGERY, CHEMO and RADIOTHERAPY.

The prognosis for lung cancer in 2021 is ABYSMAL.

Now riddle me this:

IN WHAT OTHER FIELD OF SCIENCE IS THERE ZERO ADVANCE
IN OVER 50 YEARS

- despite tens of billions of dollars going.......
into somebody's pockets, somewhere?

For comparison:

In 50 years we went from the Wright Brothers to supersonic flight.

In 50 years we went from Robert Goddard to the Saturn-5 rocket.

In 50 years we went from the telegram to the internet.

DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE?
