"I decided not to get a Christmas tree this year,
since my mom passed away in October, 2021
and I’m spending most of my time organizing her house.

My mom has always had a branch (troldegren),
instead of a Christmas tree, but this is the first time I’ve had one.

Almost all of my Christmas decorations
were bought at second hand stores,
including probably 95% of my Christmas ornaments.

A few of these were my mom’s
(I used most of her decorations to decorate her house
and her own branch one last time)
- some she made when she was young,
and some we collected on our travels
when I was younger

And, the silver heart...
it used to be her necklace.
