CICADA: Connection To Prime Numbers 13 and 17 Year Cycles !

Get Ready for Brood X: The rare one in every 17 years emergence
of the cicada swarm is coming.

Cicadas are considered one of the 7 Wonders of the Natural Insect World.

Cicadas incubate underground for periods of time, either for 13 or 17 years,
before they come out to mate. It’s interesting that both 13 and 17
are Prime Numbers and that it relates to predictable cycles.

Biologists believe that cicadas ended up in these prime number life-cycles
because it meant they came into less contact with predators
by emerging only at these times.

This is often referred to as an Evolutionary Strategy for survival of this delicate species.

In the world scene today, April 2021, Americans are celebrating
this long-awaited 17 years cycle, because the Cicadas will be emerging this year,
and only in America, nowhere else in the world does this happen!

There will be trillions of them in the early summer.

Children will be collecting them live, fascinated by their loud songs,
or finding their shells or skin on the bark of trees.

It's been 17 years, and the periodical insects, also known as Brood X,
    are back.

When the world last glimpsed the cicadas,
Facebook was brand new, theatres were showing "Spider-Man 2,"
and the 2004 Summer Olympics were underway.

Since then, they've been underground, eating.

They're in the dark, they're feeding on roots,
waiting for the time to emerge and find a partner.

The young cicadas, called "nymphs," the size of ants,
claw their way out of the ground and climb up to shed their skins
one last time and transform into adults.

They will have only a few weeks to sing, mate and begin the cycle again.
