Computer Help - don't want to die with all this information inside of me

YESTERDAY, i started this series of threads on The Mists of Avalon

my computer isnt working properly

there are many links i can't get to

can someone give me some advice ?

can't seem to find photographs in my computer
although, i know they are there
making it hard to post things
- does anyone have any suggestions how to reset a computer
without losing everything ???
- having trouble editing things, laptop screen is too small
- having trouble editing things, i am whole brained, not right of left brained
think i've been given bad info on virus protection
-now, i don't know how to take that stuff out

i get this big DARK black spot - called a bullet ???

it does that on a few posting boards
also, i can't seem to find my 'keyboard' program

Recently someone suggested i do
a 'fundme' or 'indigogogo' in order to finish my work professionally

and/or to hire a professional to help me finish my work, along with teach me what i don't know

sad to say, i am NOT smart enough to understand anything more than a 'posting board'

is there, anyone here; or; anyone YOU know, that might help me ?

i know, this work is important
however, NOT being able to do this
all on my own is starting to really disappoint me

i am a do-person, not a try-person
however, the circumstances around me,
are starting to make me feel

trying is rather fruitless
i don't make any money doing this

in fact, it has cost me a lot of money
and, also, it has cost me the best years of my life

is it worth it ???

Regarding technical matters I would sugest you join a computer forum Susan.
You'll be surrounded by people that will able to help you there I believe.

When I bog with something on the computer I type my question in google and am then
oriented to such forums where same question was asked by another.
It did help me at times.

no way to store files and find them
- and, this computer with all of its info
is about to crash

if it crashes and burns, it is all gone

and, we do NOT have any money to buy a new computer

we will simply be pushed, out of the game

yes, we know, we should have stopped the process

and, learned how to do things

sadly, we never stopped in life for a formal education

sadly, we are born in the 50's - and, computers didn't exist way back then

so, we are asking you to dream with us

so, we are asking you for help

so, we can create a support circle for this body of work

it seems that we have supported the journey of many when we could ill afford to,
we contributed to the original project avalon and, project camelot
& all those people ever did was 'waste' the money

their creation was simply, what was in it, for them

even our doctorate is on hold, because they won't except hand written documents
and, another part of it, is locked in a macbook, we can't boot
-fortunately, someone is sending us a 'boot disk' for that computer
via snail mail

You can upload , download and share your filles with others through several hosts.
Here is one I tested and worked well for me :

Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily

In the event your computer crashes there is still a way to get back your documents providing your memory card has'nt been damaged. You'll need a technician to do this though.
This is how I recovered my work when my own computer passed away a while ago.

If you can't afford an external hard disk to save your files put them at least on a USB key. That's cheaper and worthwhile to have.

Susan, I also grew up before there were computers. I had so so many questions when I got my computer,
I asked everyone at work (The Home Depot) for help. I got the best answer from the guy (about 70) in appliances,
He said, "What I do is just ask Google".
He was right, If I had the question, twenty more people did too.
