December 2, 2019: Jupiter enters Capricorn.

Jupiter, the principle of expansion,
enters Capricorn, the earth sign
concerned with structure
and the implementation of rules.

Jupiter expands the effect of any planetary energy
it contacts.
For much of 2020,
Jupiter will be in relationship with,
and therefore expanding,
the Saturn/Pluto conjunction.
We can expect the changes
wrought by this powerful conjunction
to accelerate.

In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology,
Jupiter is Horus, the Young King.
Horus is born a king;
conceived through the magic
of his mother Isis
after the death of his father Osiris.
Like the falcon – his totem
- he soars high, exudes confidence and strikes quickly.
His battle with Set, his uncle
and the murderer of his father,
for control of the new aeon lasts for centuries.
Horus ultimately wins the battle
– as new life always does.
In this transit of Jupiter aligned
with Saturn and Pluto,
Horus will bring his confidence
and enthusiasm to the task at hand
; the dismantling and re-creation
of the established systems
by which we run our society.

The change that has already begun
will not be turned back.
It is up to us to make this new reality work
in a way that sustains and nourishes us
and our planet.
Jupiter in Capricorn does not express itself
in the loose and carefree way
so often associated with this astrological archetype.
This expression of Jupiter is reserved,
practical and unemotional.
And, if we want to create
and establish a new structure
that expresses our deepest values
and concerns,
this is a good energy to address the issue.

Jupiter stays in a sign of the zodiac
for approximately one year.
Jupiter/Horus will remain in the emanation
of Capricorn/Khnum until December 19, 2020.
