The longest highway in the world: The Pan-American connects Alaska, in the United States, with Tierra del Fuego, in the south of Argentina, encountering different landscapes, deserts, mountains, jungles and crosses more than 14 countries (Canada, the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua , Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina). This highway has an incomplete stretch of 87 kilometers known as the Darien Gap, which is located between Panama and Colombia.
