The Mexican National Commission on Minimum Wages
approved an increase to the daily minimum wage applicable in Mexico
resulting in $172.87 MXP (which is approximately $8.06 USD)

How will this increase affect to apply to temporary
or permanent residences?

The amounts required in the Mexican consulates
are based on the minimum wage in Mexico,
this only means that the requirements to apply
for a residence will increase as well.

For example, for temporary residence with a pension,
300 days of the minimum salary are required per month

300 x 172.87 = 51,861 pesos

In usd aprox 2593 you need to receive in your pension monthly

When in 2021 the amount required was 42,510 pesos or 2125 usd aprox
