Jorgelito - Posted Sep 4th 2012 Ocean currents move in spiral like Fibonacci patterns. Wind seems to move in the same way. Wind would move in straight lines between areas of high and low pressure but moves instead in curves because of the Earth's rotation. To understand this, it helps to see the Earth moving under the winds giving us the perception of a force moving the winds left or right. It's called the Coriolis effect. From us living on Earth it looks like a force but it isnot a force; it's a perspective. What other forces do we know are really perspectives?
