    According to "THE CELESTINE PROPHECHY,"
    until we can keep our own energy tanks full,
    we all play out a particular drama to control people and situations,
    in order to get energy coming our way.

    James Redfield writes,

    "Everyone manipulates for energy either aggressively,
    directly forcing people to pay attention to them,
    or passively, playing on people's sympathy or curiosity to gain attention"

    There are four types of energy thiefs...
    Intimidator,
    Interregator,
    Aloof and
    Poor Me (See graphic)
    and we each predominantly use one of these tactics
    to gain energy from others when our personal supply is depleted.

    Our control drama of choice is formed in early childhood.

    Whatever worked for us within our individual family dynamics,
    in order for us to gain energy (focused attention)
    and conserve our own supply....

    Our strategy to manipulate people in order to win energy
    becomes a habit and a subconscious control mechanism
    that we carry into adulthood.

    Being able to recognise our dominant control drama
    and that of those close to us ultimately frees us to break the habit
    and choose love instead...

    For it is only when our own love tank and energy fields are filled
    that we no longer feel the need to manipulate others to gain energy.

    Which one are you ? ....

    I like to think I keep my love tank full now but if anything I'd be aloof ...

    Minus the acting clueless and redundant stories lol
