TODAY'S INDIGENOUS WISDOM

While filming the movie White Buffalo an American Prophecy,
I went to Prophecy rock with the Hopi elder wise woman.

It showed the beginning and end of the previous worlds ..
and that we are now at a crossroad where we can choose to go
into cataclysmic destruction ...

or into a new ideal Society.

The cleansing can be gradual or massive.
This depends on humans taking responsibility
for honoring the truth of the Great Spirit.

That Spirit is what we call God the I AM that I Am.

"When the Elders spoke to us,

(I’m speaking of more recent conversations
I had in the late seventies and early eighties, with Hopi Elders),

it was a reminder that our future is impacted by the way
we act in this moment and the past is healed
by the ways we act in this moment.

How do I know that?

What was the lesson?

In 2004, I went to revisit some of the remaining Elders,
and with one of them I went with a young man, my son,
to certain sacred sites that he visited over time
as he was growing up.

He said to this Elder,

'The prophecy rock has changed. How is this?

What has happened?'

The Elder replied,

'Yes, you have changed, and so the future changes.'

That was a long silent moment.

The future changes as we change.

We heard in the past that there would be great changes
and cataclysms that would befall the human family,
and now you’re seeing that as change.

It changes as our hearts and minds change.

What do you see?

What do you choose?

Are you willing to walk in harmony?

We were stunned.

'Oh! It is true that prophecy is an indicator,
and that indicator resonates with larger waves of information.'

So as we sat, silent, we also heard about the movement
of the galaxies and the systems that we live within,
moving around in a very large spiral
and that every 26,900 years
we have the opportunity to make a leap
into the world of our natural luminosity
and joyful participation in the experience of form.

There’s nothing to run from.

Our forms are not a hindrance.

Our forms are inseparable from the moving wisdom,
the stream of knowledge, that we are part of."
