    TODAY WE ADOPTED A HUMAN...

    “Today we went out
    for a walk about...

    Today we went out
    just to roam...

    To feel the sun
    To touch the wind...

    To just see
    what we could see...

    To cross paths
    with others with beings...

    To ignite the original spark
    to make the soul smile...

    We crossed paths
    with a human...

    The sadness, all around him
    it actually broke my heart...

    to feel, to see,
    and, to sense them...

    sitting there,
all alone, feeling anxious NOT glee...

    so, up i got,
    to sit next to them...

    sitting there together,
we both were NO longer alone...

    instead of feeling confused,
i put my 'cold' nose up in the air...

instead of pretending, i do NOT want a pet,
i reached up to them, with my paws...

and, it was eXactly with this process,
    i gathered some information...

All of a sudden, a set of teary eyes,
    came into my view...

    Energetically we both came,
    into this new equation...

    To greet, and, to meet,
each other, in our own time...

We know, we do NOT love,
    that old smell of sadness...

We just wanted to jump up,
    land into their lap...

    iT was as if,
    They spoke to me...

    in this alien language,
    we call cuteness...

and, we knew they were deep,
and, we knew they had a heart...

    and, we could help them,
    and, that we together...

    we could take a house...
and, we could make it our home !!!

    it was right in,
    that moment of splendor...

that we just came to know,
    it was time for me...

    to rescue them,
    together, we both would glow...

that old sad 'n tired human,
was greatly in need of me...

    the old dog, in me,
    it barked so loud...

    so, with all my strength,
    I followed them...

    for what seemed to be,
    blocks and blocks...

We got so close, to them,
    we could smell them...

    We got a sense,
    of their true essence...

    and, this human,
    they smiled back at me...

    for an instant we connected,
    and, then they took me...

and, placed me into their arms,
i started to feel a warming...

    this was the end,
    of our ICE CREAM HEARTS...

    This was a new beggining,
we both started to twinkle, and to glow...

    we both got sparked,
    by 'the magic'...

    everything started,
    to sparkle, and, glow !!!

    As, we approached their cheeks,
    for some closeness...

    A rollin' tear,slide off,
    and, it hit me ...

    I looked into their eyes,
    every so deeply...

    They looked back,
with a light in their eyes...

    That showed me,
they head both a heart 'n a home...

    We both broke,
into a pair of brilliant smiles.

    We both knew,
    that we were safe ...

We promised to create a new eXchange,
    being happy, together forever...

    How lucky we both where,
that day to be out there...

    dancing, prancing and walking,
    in the city block ...

    where we could cross paths,
we were both blessed, and, lucky too...

After losing his parents, Roscoe, a 3-year-old orangutan,
was so depressed he wouldn't eat and didn't respond to medical treatment.

The vets thought he may die from sadness.

The zookeepers found an old sick dog on the grounds in the park at the zoo
where the orangutan lived and took the dog to the animal treatment center.

The dog arrived at the same time the orangutan was there being treated...

The two lost souls met and have been inseparable ever since.

The orangutan found a new reason to live and each of them
always tries his best to be a good companion to his newfound friend.

They are together 24 hours a day in all their activities.

They live in Northern California where swimming is their favorite pastime.

Although Roscoe (the orangutan) is a little afraid of the water and needs his friend's help to swim.
