    Nakbe, Guatemala - 1400 bc - 100 bc

Nakbe is one of the largest early Maya archaeological sites, rivaled by El Mirador. Nakbe is located in the The Mirador Basin, in El Petén region of Guatemala, approximately 13 kilometers south of the Largest Maya city of El Mirador. Excavations at Nakbe suggest that habitation began at the site during the Early Formative period (circa 1400 BC) and continued to be a large site until its collapse during the Terminal Formative period (100-200 BC). The fall of Nakbe and El Mirador took place at roughly the same time.

La Danta Pyramid, at El Mirador in Guatemala

La Danta Pyramid, at El Mirador in Guatemala

El Mirador is a large pre-Columbian Mayan settlement, located in the north of the modern department of El Petén, Guatemala. The La Danta Pyramid measures approximately 70 meters (230 ft) tall from the forest floor, and considering its total volume (2,800,000 cubic meters) is one of the largest pyramids in the world. When the large man-made platform that the temple is built upon (some 18,000 square meters) is included in calculations, La Danta is considered by some archeologists to be one of the most massive ancient structures in the world. It is one of thousands of pyramids connected with ancient city ruins all over Central and South America.

UNDERWATER CITY, HAVANA, CUBA - MEGALITHIC RUINS near Yucatan Channel

    Underwater City, Havana, Cuba:
A team of scientists continues to explore megalithic ruins found in the Yucatan Channel near Cuba. They have found evidence of an extensive urban environment stretching for miles along the ocean shore. Some believe that the civilization that inhabited these predates all known ancient American cultures

Zelitsky’s company hired by Fidel Castro to search Cuba territory seas for sunken treasure estimated to be worth $3 trillion. Instead, Zelitsky discovered what could be rock solid proof of an ancient civilization who built a city out of immense granite stone. The nearest location of similar stone, in central Mexico, nearby Cuba, composed of limestone. An ancient civilization whose city may have been covered by water from the last Ice Age. Another theory, earthquakes and the location of the city near a volcano, caused the city and the surrounding land to sink beneath the waves.

Stone Sphere of Costa Rica - over 300 petrospheres

    Stone spheres of Costa Rica

Over three hundred petrospheres in Costa Rica, are located on the Diquís Delta and on Isla del Caño. Locally, they are known as Las Bolas. They seem randomly distributed but with bird’s eye view one discovers patterns believed to be the mirroring of certain constellations. The stone balls are made of hard rock, often granite, and have true spherical shape in most cases. There are small ones but the bigger balls are larger than 2 meters (6.6 Feet) in diameter and weigh many tons. Some weighing in at 15 tons.

However, many of the balls have been removed from their original positions and taken to gardens and public parks for decoration purposes. So it's virtually impossible to examine the original collective alignment. Furthermore, many of the stone balls were demolished in search of treasure as it was believed that they contained gold or other valuables.

The scattered balls resemble the jars of Laos which have similar sizes and are also distributed over a large area. Who made these balls? How did they make near perfect spheres? The period during which they were made is also unknown.

The stones are believed to have been carved between 200 BC and 1500 AD. However the only method available for dating the carved stones is stratigraphy, and most stones are no longer in their original locations.

Numerous myths surround the stones, such as they came from Atlantis, or that they were made as such by nature. Some local legends state that the native inhabitants had access to a potion able to soften the rock. Another calls for the center of the spheres to contain a single coffee bean.

It is wrongly believed that the spheres are perfect. However they do have a surprisingly smooth surface. According to laser measurements by researchers from the University of Pennsylvania, the spheres were 96% perfect.

Dragons, DNA and the I Ching By Robert Bast
    http://survive2012.com/index.php/dragons-dna-and-the-i-ching.html

    DNA and the I Ching

Just like Quetzalcoatl of the Aztecs, Nü-Kua was a dragon that taught her people about art, irrigation and agriculture. She had a male partner, another half-dragon named Fu Xi, and he taught humans how to hunt, fish and create music. He also had a role in creating the eight trigrams which were the foundation of the I’Ching. [17]

Fu Xi became the first Emperor of China, circa 2800 BC. One day he spotted a dragon-horse rising out of the Yellow River. On its side were some markings which Fu Xi recorded. He called them the Ho Tu, from which he derived eight trigrams which represented the four cardinal directions and the diagonals between.

Figure 1: Ancient and modern forms of the Ho Tu

Figure 2: The trigrams of Fu Xi
These eight trigrams are the basis of the I-Ching, the oldest scripture in Chinese culture. In 1122 BC, the official records of the Zhou dynasty stated that three different versions of the I’Ching existed, (although only the one that we use today has survived).

Several modern books like the Tao of Chaos have demonstrated extraordinary similarities that link the I’Ching to modern knowledge of DNA structures. [18] Basically, DNA comprises of four code letters, A, T, C and G. These are combined into sets of three, known as codons. This means that there are 4 x 4 x 4 = 64 combinations available, and the I Ching also has 64 combinations.

An 8×8 magic square can be constructed by placing the numbers 1.64 in sequence, and then reversing the order of the green positions. The total of any line gives us 260, the number of days in the Tzolkin, the Mayan sacred calendar. Is it just a coincidence that the next Year of the Dragon is 2012?

DNA is of course directly related to mutations, which we shall look into in a later chapter. Also, links have been made to the description of the 22-letter Hebrew language (as described in the Hebrew book of creation Sefer Yetzirah), and the 22 major arcane Tarot cards – each corresponding to the 22 amino acid and punctuation groups of DNA.

[See Occult Genetic Code & Interpreting "Sefer Yetzirah" through Genetic Engineering]

Figure 3: DNA meets the I Ching, according to Katya Walter
    DNA symbols

There are two serpentine symbols associated with medicine today, the staff of Aesculapius and the Cadeuceus, although the staff of Aesculapius has the strongest mythological association to healing. Aesculapius was a Roman physician who was such a skilled healer that he became a god, and temples were dedicated to him. The symbol of his wooden staff with only one snake coiled around it was adopted by the American Medical Association early last century.

The Cadeuceus has a slightly [*] more ancient background and, more importantly, it reinforces our links between floods, DNA and serpents/dragons.

The Cadeuceus is a figure that consists of two entwined serpents encircling a wand or rod. It was carried by Hermes in Greek myths and Mercury in Roman mythology as the messenger of the gods. It was a symbol of authority and protected the herald who carried it.

The similarity of this symbol to the double helix of DNA strands is a common observation. By looking at Greek myths we can find links to cataclysms and re-creation…
    Hermes was the grandson of Atlas;

    • Atlas kept the world steady on his shoulders (in a non-poleshift state). He was the father of Maia
    • Maia / Maya, was the Greek goddess of spring and rebirth. The month of May is named after her, and Maia means “the maker”
    • Zeus made Maia his wife and she settled in a cave 1700 metres up the slopes of Mount Cyllene. It was in this cave that their son Hermes was born.
    • The Ancient Greeks attribute many innovations to Hermes. He discovered the flame, constructed the first lyre and flute, and introduced words and numbers. He invented medicine, astrology, weights, measures and commerce. And he carried the Cadeuceus.
So, the protector from poleshifts, had a daughter in charge of the rebirth of Earth, who is was the mother of Hermes who carried the Cadeuceus.

Hermes appears to be the same character as Quetzalcoatl/Kulkulcan/Nahuatl of Mesoamerica. The both had serpent imagery (Quetzalcoatl was a feathered serpent, Hermes wore a winged hat and sandals and carried the Cadeuceus) and each provided similar services to their people (Quetzalcoatl cured ailments, introduced corn, science, calendars, created fire and gave instruction of music and dance). Another mythical cousin to these two is Buddha. Also a great teacher, he had a virgin mother named Maya.

Although this symbol is most famous for being carried by Hermes, we can trace it back to a much earlier civilisation.

The earliest depiction of the Cadeuceus, flanked by a pair of dragons, circa 4000BC
On exhibit in the Louvre is a green libation vase, which was excavated from the ancient Mesopotamian city of Lagash. The inscription on it, from King Gudea of Lagash circa 2025 BC, is a dedication to Ningizzida. Also on the vase is an image of two entwined snakes on a rod. Some have dated the vase as far back as 4000 B.C. The rod is most likely to be Axis Mundi, the world tree, Yggdrasil, the tree of life. Ningizzida, a fertility god, was also known as ‘Lord of the Tree of Life’. He was often depicted as a serpent with a human head, and later became a god of healing and magic. His companion was Tammuz/Dumuzi, who personified the creative powers of spring [19] (like the Greek Maia).

And Ningizzida was the son of Ninazu (a.k.a Anzu or Zu) – a divine storm-bird and the personification of the southern wind and the thunderclouds. [20]

In the same era the cadeuceus was being used by the people of India to represent Kundalini – but that’s another story.

Could ancient scriptures and symbols, ostensively brilliantly simple descriptions of DNA, have come from a dragon? Or were they just credited to a dragon in a myth, because dragons represent order from chaos, and symbolise terrible all-changing catastrophes?

The fifth Aztec age was initiated by the dragon Quetzalcoatl in 3,113 B.C. and is due to complete its cycle on Dec. 21, 2012. Is it just a coincidence that this happens to be the next Chinese year of the Dragon? Is this the date of the next pole shift?

    A Theory

Here is a theory that combines all myths about dragons:
Between 5,000 and 12,000 years ago, an extraterrestrial force, with accompanying cosmic radiation, caused the Earth’s poles to shift.

    • The Norse, Greek, Aztec, Chippewa & Chinese all have flood legends which have dragons in an integral role
    • The Fon and Norse legends involve the world tipping over, because of dragons
    • The Norse and Babylonian flood legends involve the shifting of the stars – something that would appear to happen in a pole shift
This in turn caused a global cataclysm of floods, earthquakes, mud and volcanoes. All living things had their numbers drastically reduced. Life arose from mud. Those that survived had mutated DNA from cosmic radiation – (even today cosmic rays are the main cause of random DNA mutations). Many new species came about.
    • The Fon, Norse, Babylonian, Aztec & Chinese all have creation legends involving dragons
    • The Norse, Babylonian, Greek, Aztec & Chinese all have mutations appearing in their legends
Some, including dragons and unicorns, had genetic Achilles heels, which prevented them from surviving through until the modern era.

Dragons were the most monstrous of all the new species, and became the symbol of the cataclysm and the resulting mutations. After a few generations, two species of humans remained, the Neanderthals (giants) and the Nephilim (angels/gods). The Nephilim were the most changed, and they became associated with dragon symbolism. They had changed for the better, and they retained information from before the cataclysm. But they were few, and they were weak. The only way to survive was to mate with the Neanderthal giants. And to teach their offspring all they knew.
    • Cecrops and Athena (Greece), Quetzalcoatl (Aztec) & Nü-Kua (China) were all dragons that introduced knowledge to their respective cultures
The ancient myths that relate to the cataclysm feature dragons and mutations, as a simplistic way of explaining what had happened. It is to their the credit of the inventors of these myths, that the underlying message has somehow managed to survive for millennia.

[*] The story of Aesculapius and his association with Hermes begins to make the story of the related symbols quite interesting. According to Greek myth, the god Apollo, in a fit of jealousy, killed his unfaithful mortal lover, a woman named Coronis (the Greek root of her name, korone, refers to a seabird, or a crow). When Apollo discovered that she was pregnant with his son, he had Hermes deliver the child while her body lay on the funeral pyre. The child was none other than Aesculapius. King Kan Balam II, the son of Pakal The Great has his tomb finally been found in Palenque, Mexico ?

Huge Archaeology and History Making Discovery Palenque Mexico

Has the tomb of King Kan Balam II, the son of Pakal the Great finally been found in Palenque?

Although archaeologists have been searching for this tomb for decades now, there has never been anything found of his remains. But now that may have changed.

A group of amateur explorers has announced on several TV stations in Mexico that they have found the missing tomb near the Temple of the Foliated Cross (pictured above). What is intriguing is that this building was constructed during the reign of Kan Balam II and was one of the places that archaeologists thought the King could be buried at.

Perhaps the most important thing about this discovery though is that ancient legends speak of the tomb being found only at the end of the 2012 calender cycle. If this tomb has indeed been found then what will this mean to the fate of our world? And does the chamber contain any specific warnings or preparations for us to make for the coming date of December 21, 2012?

After all, it was Kan Balam II that founded the order of Chilam Bilam and its nine degrees who were the astronomer-priests that created the 2012 prophecies.

    The Father and the Son

I was in Palenque in 1964 and visited the tomb of the father -- King Pikal. I was told the tomb had just been recently discovered by accident. The grave robbers had missed it. Everything was intact. It was a priceless find . . .

Giant Crystal Pyramid discovered in Bermuda Triangle

    GIANT CRYSTAL PYRAMID
    DISCOVERED IN BERMUDA TRIANGLE

The Bermuda Triangle: mysterious, unworldly, sometimes deadly. For decades intrepid researchers delved into the maze of mysteries hidden deep within this most enigmatic place on Earth.

Some speculate the bizarre time anomalies, disappearances and weird phenomenacan be explained by natural occurrences Others are insistent that relics of an advanced, unknown culture left behind fantastic technology… great energy machines that literally warp space time and open portals to other realities.

Now American and French explorers have made a monumental discovery: a partially translucent, crystal-like pyramid rising from the Caribbean seabed — its origin, age and purpose completely unknown.

A gigantic structure, perhaps larger than the Great Pyramid of Cheops in Egypt, and initially identified by a doctor in the 1960s, has been independently verified by diving teams from France and the U.S.

The discovery has rocked scientists around the world. Will they rush to investigate it? No, they’re more likely to studiously ignore it. If pressed, they’ll officially position themselves as highly skeptical —especially in light of the potential ramifications.

The pyramid could confirm some engineers’ contentions that pyramids were originally created as massive power sources, support the claim that the ancient city-state of Atlantis did exist, or even provide answers to the mysterious goings-on that have been recorded since the 19th Century in the region of the Atlantic dubbed the Bermuda Triangle.

    First discovered in 1968

According to the history, the pyramid was accidentally discovered during 1968 by a doctor of naturopathy, Ray Brown of Mesa, Arizona.

Brown was in the Caribbean on vacation and making dives with friends in a region off the Bahamas known as “the Tongue of the Ocean.” The area acquired that name because a tongue-shaped portion of the seabed extends out from the island before sharply dropping off into much greater depths.

When relating his discovery, the doctor explained he became separated from his diving friends underwater. While attempting to rejoin them he came upon a massive structure rising from the ocean floor: a black, hulking object silhouetted against the lighter sun-filtered water. The object was shaped like a pyramid.

Because he was low on air, he didn’t spend much time investigating the pyramid, but did find a strange crystal sphere.

He brought it to the surface with him and later when the ancient crystal was studied researchers were astonished by its properties.

Is the crystal pyramid causing the Triangle phenomena?

Some Triangle researchers have theorized for years that a strange energy sourcem exists at the bottom of the sea within the region of the ocean affecting planes, ships, and boats.

A few investigators postulate that if the fabled Atlantis really did exist the remains of its mythical energy-vortex machine might still be intact at the bottom of the ocean. Such a machine, they claim, would likely be pyramidal-shaped and the original historical template that succeeding cultures around the globe copied much later.

Mysterious pyramids scattered across the world

Pyramid structures have been discovered across North, Central, and South America; Eastern Europe; the icy tundra of Siberia; Northern and Central China; and possibly Antarctica. The South Pole pyramid cannot be confirmed as it’s deep under more than a mile of ice and images of it are controversial.

Years ago, mysterious ruins—the vestiges of an unknown culture — were discovered on a small island called Malden in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The ruins were claimed to also have the remains of an ancient pyramid.

Believers in the ancient land of Lemuria (also called Mu) proposed that the ruins might be all that were left of that ancient land, while others speculated it might have been an outpost colony of Atlantis.

An anthropologist from the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, Hawaii explored the ruins back in 1924 and found nopyramid. What scientist Kenneth Emory did find, however, was evidence that a small Polynesian tribe once settled there briefly, perhaps no further back in time than the 16th Century.

Despite that finding, more revelations were to come from the tiny island during the ensuing years.

Researcher Mitch Williamson dug deeper into the mysteries.

Reporting on some of Williamson’s amazing findings, Rich Hoffman, explorer and investigator, writes: “There are 40 stone temples on Malden Island that are described as similar in design to the buildings of Nan Madol on Pohnpei, some 3,400 miles (5,475 km) away. In fact, there is a basalt road that runs along the bottom of the Pacific Ocean which connects these islands under hundreds of feet of water.

“This suggests a culture that is more than 50,000 years old and that this entire land mass was once above water supporting a civilization that had no trouble moving around tremendous stones to build very large, complicated societies which we know absolutely nothing about, other than the fact that someone built them and they are older than biblical history.

“Yet, nobody discusses them because they don’t fit into our understanding of the human race and their origins. Scientists have their diffusion theories of how migrants arrived in North America using the land bridge of the Bering Straight and they are sticking with it.”

The same can be said of the scattered ruins of the Caribbean that suggest a very large civilization extending from the coastal waters off the Florida Keys, toward the Bahamian waters, crossing near Bimini, and east into the Atlantic.

Cuba too has underwater ruins off its coast that may have been part of the same city-state complex.

Hoffman also mentions, almost in passing, the incredible report of explorer Tony Benik who made the momentous discovery of yet another huge pyramid under 10,000 feet of water in the middle of the Atlantic.

The pyramid, Benik claims, is capped with a huge crystal.

And if that’s not enough, Hoffman shares the discovery of the Ari Marshall expedition in 1977. The team discovered a smaller pyramid off Cay Sal in the Bahamas. Marshall snapped underwater photos of the pyramid that’s submerged beneath 150 feet of water.

According to Marshall’s account the mystery pyramid glows. He also reported the water around the pyramid was luminescent and glistening white water flowed out of openings in the pyramid.

Despite the water at that depth being dark (not much light reaches that far down), the water surrounding the amazing pyramid was lit by the glow from the structure and appeared like a phosphoresent green color.

No follow-up exploration has ever been done of the find.

    Properties of crystal pyramids

Some theories of Atlantis propose the island city’s power pyramids were made of crystal, or their tops were capped with a crystalline substance.

Could such a thing actually generate, store, and distribute energy on demand?

    Yes.

Experimenters discovered decades ago that pyramids do tend to act in some ways like a natural electrical capacitor gathering and storing energy around them. The larger the pyramid, the greater the capacity of gathering and storing energy. A pyramid’s composition is important too. Having one made of crystal, or an apex made of crystal, could vastly increase its power.

Crystal has long been known to have energy applications and exhibits natural piezoelectrical properties.

Early radio used germanium crystals to capture the radio waves and convert them into electrical signals that could be processed and broadcast through headphones into sound waves duplicating the human voice, music, and other sounds.

Pyramid power, say investigators, is intrinsic to the pyramid shape. It’s an architecture that’s proven to function as an energy accumulator and amplifier of energetic force.

As if to prove the investigators’ assertions true, recently some of the worlds pyramids began discharging beams of raw energy into space. [See: World's Pyramids Beaming Energy]

The bottom line? Pyramids are intrinsically natural generators of power.

Mayan tomb may belong to warrior queen

Archaeologists say they've discovered what could be the tomb of one of the greatest Mayan rulers, the 7th century warrior queen Lady K'abel.

The carved alabaster vessel (shown from two sides) found in the burial chamber caused the archaeologists to conclude the tomb was that of Lady K’abel.

The tomb was revealed during digging at the ancient Maya city of El Perú-Waka' in the rain forest of northern Guatemala. Alongside the body, excavators found a white jar shaped like conch shell with the head and arm of a woman carved at the opening. The artifact had four hieroglyphs that suggest it belonged to K'abel.

"Nothing is ever proven in archaeology because we're working with circumstantial evidence. But in our case we have a carved stone alabaster jar that is named K'abel's possession," David Freidel, an archaeologist working on the site, explained in a video. Freidel, of Washington University in St. Louis, said the find is "as close to a smoking gun" as you get in archaeology.

The plazas, palaces, temple pyramids and residences of El Perú-Waka' belong to the Classic Maya civilization (200-900 A.D.). K'abel was part of a royal family and carried the title "Kaloomte'," which translates to "Supreme Warrior," meaning she had even higher in authority than her king husband, K'inich Bahlam, according to Freidel and his excavation team. K'abel is believed to have reigned with him from about 672-692 A.D.

Ceramic vessels found in the burial chamber and carvings on a stela (stone slab) outside of it also indicate the tomb belongs to K'abel, as does a large red spiny oyster shell found on the lower torso of the remains, the researchers said.

"Late Classic queens at Waka', including K'abel, regularly wore such a shell as a girdle ornament in their stela portraits while kings did not," the researchers wrote in a report on the finds.

An examination of the remains indicated that the buried person was a "mature individual," the researchers wrote. But the bones were too deteriorated for scientists to determine whether it was male or female.

Excavations have been underway at El Perú-Waka' since 2003. The K'abel find has not yet appeared in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

PASCAL's Triangle --- 1...1...2...3...5...8...13...21...34... Fibonacci Series found in triangle

Pascal’s Triangle

    1...1...2...3...5...8...13...21...34...

The Fibonacci Series is found in Pascal’s Triangle.

Pascal’s Triangle, developed by the French Mathematician Blaise Pascal, is formed by starting with an apex of 1. Every number below in the triangle is the sum of the two numbers diagonally above it to the left and the right, with positions outside the triangle counting as zero.
The numbers on diagonals of the triangle add to the Fibonacci series, as shown below.

Pascal’s triangle has many unusual properties and a variety of uses:
    • Horizontal rows add to powers of 2 (i.e., 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc.)
    • The horizontal rows represent powers of 11 (1, 11, 121, 1331, etc.)
    • Adding any two successive numbers in the diagonal 1-3-6-10-15-21-28… results in a perfect square (1, 4, 9, 16, etc.)
    • It can be used to find combinations in probability problems (if, for instance, you pick any two of five items, the number of possible combinations is 10, found by looking in the second place of the fifth row. Do not count the 1′s.)
    • When the first number to the right of the 1 in any row is a prime number, all numbers in that row are divisible by that prime number
