    THE EGG

    The Egg
    By: Andy Weir

You were on your way home when you died.

It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.

And that’s when you met me.

“What… what happened?” You asked. “Where am I?”

“You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. No point in mincing words.

“There was a… a truck and it was skidding…”

    “Yup,” I said.

    “I… I died?”

“Yup. But don’t feel bad about it. Everyone dies,” I said.

You looked around. There was nothingness. Just you and me. “What is this place?” You asked. “Is this the afterlife?”

    “More or less,” I said.

    “Are you god?” You asked.

    “Yup,” I replied. “I’m God.”

“My kids… my wife,” you said.

    “What about them?”

    “Will they be all right?”

“That’s what I like to see,” I said. “You just died and your main concern is for your family. That’s good stuff right there.”

You looked at me with fascination. To you, I didn’t look like God. I just looked like some man. Or possibly a woman. Some vague authority figure, maybe. More of a grammar school teacher than the almighty.

“Don’t worry,” I said. “They’ll be fine. Your kids will remember you as perfect in every way. They didn’t have time to grow contempt for you. Your wife will cry on the outside, but will be secretly relieved. To be fair, your marriage was falling apart. If it’s any consolation, she’ll feel very guilty for feeling relieved.”

“Oh,” you said. “So what happens now? Do I go to heaven or hell or something?”

“Neither,” I said. “You’ll be reincarnated.”

“Ah,” you said. “So the Hindus were right,”

“All religions are right in their own way,” I said. “Walk with me.”

You followed along as we strode through the void. “Where are we going?”

“Nowhere in particular,” I said. “It’s just nice to walk while we talk.”

“So what’s the point, then?” You asked. “When I get reborn, I’ll just be a blank slate, right? A baby. So all my experiences and everything I did in this life won’t matter.”

“Not so!” I said. “You have within you all the knowledge and experiences of all your past lives. You just don’t remember them right now.”

I stopped walking and took you by the shoulders. “Your soul is more magnificent, beautiful, and gigantic than you can possibly imagine. A human mind can only contain a tiny fraction of what you are. It’s like sticking your finger in a glass of water to see if it’s hot or cold. You put a tiny part of yourself into the vessel, and when you bring it back out, you’ve gained all the experiences it had.

“You’ve been in a human for the last 48 years, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. If we hung out here for long enough, you’d start remembering everything. But there’s no point to doing that between each life.”

“How many times have I been reincarnated, then?”

“Oh lots. Lots and lots. An in to lots of different lives.” I said. “This time around, you’ll be a Chinese peasant girl in 540 AD.”

“Wait, what?” You stammered. “You’re sending me back in time?”

“Well, I guess technically. Time, as you know it, only exists in your universe. Things are different where I come from.”

“Where you come from?” You said.

“Oh sure,” I explained “I come from somewhere. Somewhere else. And there are others like me. I know you’ll want to know what it’s like there, but honestly you wouldn’t understand.”

“Oh,” you said, a little let down. “But wait. If I get reincarnated to other places in time, I could have interacted with myself at some point.”

“Sure. Happens all the time. And with both lives only aware of their own lifespan you don’t even know it’s happening.”

“So what’s the point of it all?”

“Seriously?” I asked. “Seriously? You’re asking me for the meaning of life? Isn’t that a little stereotypical?”

“Well it’s a reasonable question,” you persisted.

I looked you in the eye. “The meaning of life, the reason I made this whole universe, is for you to mature.”

“You mean mankind? You want us to mature?”

“No, just you. I made this whole universe for you. With each new life you grow and mature and become a larger and greater intellect.”

“Just me? What about everyone else?”

“There is no one else,” I said. “In this universe, there’s just you and me.”

You stared blankly at me. “But all the people on earth…”

“All you. Different incarnations of you.”

    “Wait. I’m everyone!?”

“Now you’re getting it,” I said, with a congratulatory slap on the back.

“I’m every human being who ever lived?”

“Or who will ever live, yes.”

    “I’m Abraham Lincoln?”

“And you’re John Wilkes Booth, too,” I added.

    “I’m Hitler?” You said, appalled.

“And you’re the millions he killed.”

    “I’m Jesus?”

“And you’re everyone who followed him.”

    You fell silent.

“Every time you victimized someone,” I said, “you were victimizing yourself. Every act of kindness you’ve done, you’ve done to yourself. Every happy and sad moment ever experienced by any human was, or will be, experienced by you.”

You thought for a long time.

“Why?” You asked me. “Why do all this?”

“Because someday, you will become like me. Because that’s what you are. You’re one of my kind. You’re my child.”

“Whoa,” you said, incredulous. “You mean I’m a god?”

“No. Not yet. You’re a fetus. You’re still growing. Once you’ve lived every human life throughout all time, you will have grown enough to be born.”

“So the whole universe,” you said, “it’s just…”

“An egg.” I answered. “Now it’s time for you to move on to your next life.”

And I sent you on your way.

This documentary is a salute to 35,000 years of the goddess-worshipping religions of the ancient past. The film features Merlin Stone, Carol Christ, Luisah Teish and Jean Bolen, all of whom link the loss of goddess-centric societies with today's environmental crisis. This is the first part of a 3-part series that includes The Burning Times and Full Circle

    THE GODDESS & THE SERPENT

    View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d86i612new

    http://www.potnia.theladyofthelabyrin...

From the Python Cave of Botzwana, Africa, 70. 000 years ago we look at several ancient cultures in which the Snake Goddess was a central figure in myth and ritual: Old Europe (approx.7500 - 3000 BC), Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Bronze Age Minoan Crete, Bronze Age Scandinavia, the Greek-Roman Empire, India from the Indus Valley until today, Viking Age Scandinavia, Mexico, and back to the Mami Wata of contemporary Africa...

Part Two of the "Ancient Symbology of the Goddess Worldwide", a LadyoftheLabyrinth series (there will be more, so please suscribe for updates).

The space I have given (and not given) to certain cultures reflect only the limits of my knowledge and not in any way the importance of the snake goddess in these cultures compared to each other. I have omitted that which I know too little about and given extra room for that which I know more about, like the Scandinavian and Minoan cultures. I dont mind if you want to add information in comments but please bear with me here... :)

ADDED INFORMATION: In the Stone Age Megalithic Temple Culture on Malta, the famous "Sleeping Goddess" was found in a burial pit surrounded by the skeletons of serpents. The serpents had been coiled around the figurine before it was placed in the pit within the underground temple that served as an oracular temple as well as a tomb. The sleeping goddess herself may have been an image of the incubated oracle priestess, the serpent having a long-standing traditional connection with oracles all over the ancient world. It is interesting that these oracles are also associated with caves (the underworld, the womb of Earth, the world of the dead) worldwide, since the oldest evidence for a sacred serpent is situated in a cave 70 000 years ago...

The serpent has in almost all these cultures been associated with the World Tree (and with the stellar Milky Way!), and also with the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Immortality. It was coiled around the Tree of Life in old Sumer, lies waiting at the roots of Yggdrasil the Old Norse World Tree in the company of the three norns (goddesses of fate and esoteric knowledge) or with the goddess Hel, and it was coiled around the Tree that bears the Golden Apples of Immortality in the Garden of the Hesperides (the three nymphs of the evening), and so forth and so on...

In many cultures, the serpent IS a symbol of the Universe or the Milky Way.

The snake is also a symbol of power, mostly magical power although used also in connection to kingship. The most famous image of such serpentine power is the Kundalini, the energetic movement of Shakti (which means both power, energy and Goddess) through the being. Waking the Kundalini serpent is equalled to waking the Power of the Goddess, which leads to Enlightenment. The wielding of serpents has been an important symbol of religious authority and magical power in women in many cultures across the globe.

    About Earth Mythic Library
Welcome to the LadyoftheLabyrinth´s main channel! Hooray! :))

Those of you interested purely in my Norse mythology videos may want to check out my Old Norse Mystery Cult channel where they are all neatly gathered for a better overview.

Those interested in a more artistic and spiritual side of my work may want to check out my WakethePriestess channel.

This present channel, the Earth Mythic Library, is an attempt to collect and distribute knowledge on both ancient and modern myths, disregarding whether they are "true" or not. I believe there are as many truths as there are minds.

There is no such things as a closed case in historical research. History keeps changing as new minds with different experiences start to dig into the source material. We all screen the knowledge we are gathering, through a filter based on our personal experience and particular interests, which is influenced by age, nationality, ethnicity, religion, ideology, gender and orientations. Which is why as many different kinds of voices as possible should be heard and considered carefully.

Mainstream media and education is strongly influenced by academic research, usually dominated by a small group of people who decide who shall get the fundings and the positions. These decisions are based on the dominating paradigm of beliefs or ideology at any university, which is also paid by the government. The result is that countless theories, views and finds are never really heard, except through alternative media. I regard this channel as such an alternative media.

I am interested in Pagan and shamanistic spiritual traditions and mythology from all over the world. My favorite subjects are Ancient Goddess religions, Old Norse Mythology, Ancient history and archaeology, Shamanism, Folklore and Folk music. My approach is both historical and spiritual.

As a student of many mythologies and religions, I think that it is possible to detect a very ancient theme that pops up in all kinds of cultures -- paths of spiritual transformation leading to the same great human Well of Memory: Enlightenment.

I believe that the Old Norse Poetic Edda is one of the last testimonies in Europe to an ancient, pre-Christian path of transformation. Having studied the Edda intently for fifteen years, I believe I have reached a point where I can share a certain insight.

I think the Edda offers a unique insight into an ancient and very valid path, and that it expresses the age-old concerns of all human kind.

I am concerned with restoring knowledge about ancient, pantheist religions of the Great Goddess, because they were fundamental to the development of the Mysteries that are the oldest known versions of a path towards enlightenment.

I find Marija Gimbutas´work extremely inspiring and interesting, and find it sad that it has so often been misrepresented, ignored and suppressed by those who cannot stand the idea of humanity not being "naturally" aggressive and hierarchic.

Gimbutas proves and describes numerous ancient cultures that existed peacefully for thousands of years, without any particular hierarchy and without any apparent gender oppression. The religions of these peoples seemed focused on goddesses, or a Great Goddess -- indeed they were strongest in exactly the same areas that, when writing was invented, made hymns to celebrate the Great Goddess behind all other deities.

Sadly, because Gimbutas emphasised the similarity between these cultures and made a claim that they were parts of the same pan-European stone age Civilisation, powerful archaeologists have found an excuse to disregard her work altogether by claiming that this interconnectedness is just not possible and by pointing out that there were certain societies that did not fit into the picture.

I think it is horrendous how an entire and extremely interesting, valid, serious life work has been tried suppressed because of a few unusually bold claims. Erik Rodenborg´s article about the criticism against Gimbutas more or less illustrate exactly how I regard her thesis -- and her critics.

The photograph Jesus and John ?

the "photograph of Jesus" and John?

This photo was shown to me on facebook by a friend from CA who was given it under interesting circumstances.

I have since seen it in several other places and thanks to Stephen Michael Marcus discovered that a German artist painted this scene in the late 1800s - working from the same photograph? Where does it come from originally and what does it mean?

we have own ideas... what about your ideas ? Please feel free to share
    thank you

Christ as 'magician' Bowl dated 2nd century BC - 1st century AD - "DIA CHRSTOU O GOISTAiS"

Earliest reference describes Christ as 'magician'
Bowl dated between late 2nd century B.C. and the early 1st century A.D.

A bowl, dating to between the late 2nd century B.C. and the early 1st century A.D.,
is engraved with what may be the world's first known reference to Christ.

The engraving reads, "DIA CHRSTOU O GOISTAIS,"
which has been interpreted to mean either, "by Christ the magician" or, "the magician by Christ."

A team of scientists led by renowned French marine archaeologist Franck Goddio recently announced
that they have found a bowl, dating to between the late 2nd century B.C. and the early 1st century A.D.,
that is engraved with what they believe could be the world's first known reference to Christ.

If the word "Christ" refers to the Biblical Jesus Christ,
as is speculated, then the discovery may provide evidence
that Christianity and paganism at times intertwined in the ancient world.

The full engraving on the bowl reads, "DIA CHRSTOU O GOISTAIS,"
which has been interpreted by the excavation team to mean either,
    "by Christ the magician"
    or, "the magician by Christ."

"It could very well be a reference to Jesus Christ,
in that he was once the primary exponent of white magic,"
Goddio, co-founder of the Oxford Center of Maritime Archaeology, said.

He and his colleagues found the object during an excavation of the underwater ruins
    of Alexandria's ancient great harbor.

The Egyptian site also includes the now submerged island of Antirhodos,
where Cleopatra's palace may have been located.

Both Goddio and Egyptologist David Fabre, a member of the European Institute of Submarine Archaeology,
think a "magus" could have practiced fortune telling rituals using the bowl.

The Book of Matthew refers to "wisemen," or Magi, believed to have been prevalent in the ancient world.

According to Fabre, the bowl is also very similar to one depicted in two early Egyptian earthenware statuettes
that are thought to show a soothsaying ritual.

"It has been known in Mesopotamia probably since the 3rd millennium B.C.," Fabre said.
"The soothsayer interprets the forms taken by the oil poured into a cup of water
in an interpretation guided by manuals."

He added that the individual, or "medium," then goes into a hallucinatory trance
when studying the oil in the cup.

"They therefore see the divinities, or supernatural beings appear
that they call to answer their questions with regard to the future," he said.

The magus might then have used the engraving on the bowl to legitimize
his supernatural powers by invoking the name of Christ, the scientists theorize.

Weird science: Top unexplained mysteries Goddio said,
"It is very probable that in Alexandria they were aware of the existence of Jesus"
and of his associated legendary miracles, such as transforming water into wine,
multiplying loaves of bread, conducting miraculous health cures, and the story of the resurrection itself.

While not discounting the Jesus Christ interpretation,
other researchers have offered different possible interpretations for the engraving,
which was made on the thin-walled ceramic bowl after it was fired, since slip was removed during the process.

Bert Smith, a professor of classical archaeology and art at Oxford University,
suggests the engraving might be a dedication, or present, made by a certain "Chrestos"
belonging to a possible religious association called Ogoistais.

Klaus Hallof, director of the Institute of Greek inscriptions at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy,
added that if Smith's interpretation proves valid, the word "Ogoistais"
could then be connected to known religious groups that worshipped early Greek and Egyptian gods and goddesses,
such as Hermes, Athena and Isis.

Hallof additionally pointed out that historians working at around, or just after, the time of the bowl,
such as Strabon and Pausanias, refer to the god "Osogo" or "Ogoa,"
so a variation of this might be what's on the bowl. It is even possible that the bowl refers
to both Jesus Christ and Osogo.

Fabre concluded, "It should be remembered that in Alexandria, paganism,
Judaism and Christianity never evolved in isolation.

All of these forms of religion (evolved) magical practices that seduced both
the humble members of the population and the most well-off classes."

"It was in Alexandria where new religious constructions were made to propose solutions
to the problem of man, of God's world," he added.

"Cults of Isis, mysteries of Mithra, and early Christianity bear witness to this."

The bowl is currently on public display in the exhibit "Egypt's Sunken Treasures" \at the Matadero Cultural Center in Madrid, Spain, until November 15/2013

    Who Were the Disciples?

    Who Were the Disciples?
    Matthew 9: 35 - 10: 8
    Mark 3: 13 - 19
    Luke 6: 12 - 18
    John 1: 35 - 42

Disciple means pupil or student, and the disciples were people who chose to follow Jesus
and to listen to his teaching. They called him rabbi, or teacher.
The twelve disciples were followers of Jesus whom he had chosen to become his core group,
the people he talked things over with and depended on.

Simon and his brother Andrew were the first disciples Jesus chose. Next Jesus called James and John,
then Philip, Nathaniel(also called Bartholomew), Matthew, Thomas, and James, son of Alphaeus,
and Simon the Zealot, and Judas, son of James, and Judas Iscariot.
According to the Gospel of John, Andrew and one other of the disciples had first been disciples of John the Baptist.

The disciples were more interested in telling Jesus' story than in telling their own,
but we do know a few things about some of them.

Jesus nicknamed SimonPeter, and the nickname stuck.

Peter, Andrew, James and John were commercial fishermen.
They (or their families) owned their own boats. James and John were the sons of Zebedee,
and this John may be the person who wrote the Fourth Gospel, the Gospel of John.

Andrew and Philip have Greek names and spoke Greek to the travelers who came from Greece
    to hear Jesus preach.
They may have had Greek relatives or Greek or Roman educations.

Matthew had been a tax collector, a disrespected way of earning a living in those days.
Tax collectors were not allowed to testify in court, because everyone believed they were totally dishonest.

Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot may have been political activists, belonging to some of the many groups
that wanted to overthrow the Roman government.
The Jews at that time wanted very much to have a Jewish king and Jewish courts
that understood their beliefs and the way they observed the religious laws.

We only know Thomas's nickname: both Thomas in Aramaic and Didymus in Greek mean twin.
He may have had an actual twin brother - or he may have looked so much like Jesus
that everyone joked that he was Jesus' twin brother.
Nowhere in the Gospel accounts does anyone mention that Thomas had a twin brother or sister.

What we know for sure about all the disciples is that they all left their livelihoods and commitments
to follow Jesus as he traveled around the country, preaching, teaching, and healing.
Simon Peter - Fisherman, son of John
Andrew - Fisherman, son of John and Peter's brother
James - Fisherman, son of Zebedee, son of Boanerges (thunder)
John - Fisherman, son of Zebedee, Boanerges (thunder), brother of James
    Philip - From Bethsaida
Matthew - tax collector, son of Alphaeus
Nathaniel (Bartholomew) - from Cana, a "true Israelite"
    Thomas
    James, son of Alphaeus
Simon, the Zealot - Guerrilla fighter
    Judas, son of James
Judas Iscariot - Guerrilla fighter, son of Simon

MAJOR BIBLE ERA FIND - Royal Castle from King David's time

Is the State Hiding a Major Bible Era Find?

Makor Rishon says authorities are keeping lid on what may be a royal castle from David's time.

For unknown reasons, Israeli authorities are keeping a lid on an archaeological find that may turn out to be a royal castle from David's time, reports the newspaper Makor Rishon. The newspaper did not give any details that might identify the exact location of the find.

According to the paper, the site was identified by Binyamin Tropper, of the Kfar Etzion Field School. As he descended into a cave in the area of southern Jerusalem, he identified what professionals call "a proto-aeolic capital" connected to a column.

The capital – which is the decorated stone at the head of an ancient column – dates back to the Biblical era, according to Field School Director Yaron Rosental. Only 30 such capitals have been found in Israel so far, and only five of them were found in areas in which Biblical-era kings lived.

Unlike all of the other proto-aeolic capitals found in Israel – this one is not separate from the column but connected to it. The weight of the column and capital are estimated to be about five tons.

"For reasons that are not completely clear," the newspaper writes, "several authorities in Israel have decided to silence the find, which may mark a breakthrough in the perception of the period of King David and his son, Shlomo [Solomon], and of the entire Judean kingdom."

The capital "apparently indicates that an entire temple or castle is buried beneath it," the newspaper adds. However, when Rosental contacted the Israel Antiquities Authority to inform them of the find, the person he spoke to simply said – "Yaron, good for you. You found it, but we already are aware of it. Now forget about the whole thing and keep your mouth shut."

Rosental said that he later found out that the IAA had known about the site for 18 months. He said that no digging has taken place since then, and that even steps like cordoning off the area, to prevent damage to the rare find, have not been taken.

Rosental calls this "a scandal" but says that no less worrisome is that the state appears to have plans to move the separation fence between Israel and the PA in a way that will leave the site in the PA's hands. However, there is still time to alter the route of the fence by 100 yards and leave the cave in Israeli hands. He expressed the wish that the authorities cordon off the site and keep it in Israeli hands until it has been thoroughly excavated, whereas he would not mind Palestinian Arabs running the site later on and profiting from the fees charged to visit it.

According to Rosental, excavation of the site has potential for uncovering a complete castle and possibly an entire neighborhood from the Judean kings' period, for the first time ever. "We appear to have a complete castle here," he said. "Those who lived here after it did not know of its existence and thus, instead of using its stones to build a new building as was the usual practice, left it intact." The details found inside could be "amazing."

The IAA confirmed to Makor Rishon that the find is an important one that appears to date to the period of Judean kings. However, the IAA added, the subject is "sensitive" and "requires serious and responsible handling." They added that they hope to be able to explore the findings.

The IDF said that it offered the IAA "the full assistance needed" in order to remove the capital and column from the site.

Shape Shifting Jesus described in ancient text ~ March 27th, 31D Julian = March 25th, 31AD Gregorian proleptic

Shape-Shifting Jesus Described in Ancient Egyptian Text

MAR 13, 2013 11:30 AM ET // BY OWEN JARUS, LIVESCIENCE

Part of the text from the manuscript holding the newly deciphered Passion story of Jesus. Found in Egypt in 1910 it was purchased, along with other manuscripts, by J.P. Morgan in 1911 and was later donated to the public.

A newly deciphered Egyptian text, dating back almost 1,200 years, tells part of the crucifixion story of Jesus with apocryphal plot twists, some of which have never been seen before.

Written in the Coptic language, the ancient text tells of Pontius Pilate, the judge who authorized Jesus' crucifixion, having dinner with Jesus before his crucifixion and offering to sacrifice his own son in the place of Jesus. It also explains why Judas used a kiss, specifically, to betray Jesus — because Jesus had the ability to change shape, according to the text — and it puts the day of the arrest of Jesus on Tuesday evening rather than Thursday evening, something that contravenes the Easter timeline.
The discovery of the text doesn't mean these events happened, but rather that some people living at the time appear to have believed in them, said Roelof van den Broek, of Utrecht University in the Netherlands, who published the translation in the book "Pseudo-Cyril of Jerusalem on the Life and the Passion of Christ"(Brill, 2013).

PHOTOS: Ancient Tomb Holds Jesus Mystery

Copies of the text are found in two manuscripts, one in the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City and the other at the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. Most of the translation comes from the New York text, because the relevant text in the Pennsylvania manuscript is mostly illegible.

Pontius Pilate has dinner with Jesus
While apocryphal stories about Pilate are known from ancient times, van den Broek wrote in an email to LiveScience that he has never seen this one before, with Pilate offering to sacrifice his own son in the place of Jesus.

"Without further ado, Pilate prepared a table and he ate with Jesus on the fifth day of the week. And Jesus blessed Pilate and his whole house," reads part of the text in translation. Pilate later tells Jesus, "well then, behold, the night has come, rise and withdraw, and when the morning comes and they accuse me because of you, I shall give them the only son I have so that they can kill him in your place."

    Who Was Jesus, the Man?

In the text, Jesus comforts him, saying, "Oh Pilate, you have been deemed worthy of a great grace because you have shown a good disposition to me." Jesus also showed Pilate that he can escape if he chose to. "Pilate, then, looked at Jesus and, behold, he became incorporeal: He did not see him for a long time ..." the text read.

Pilate and his wife both have visions that night that show an eagle (representing Jesus) being killed.
In the Coptic and Ethiopian churches, Pilate is regarded as a saint, which explains the sympathetic portrayal in the text, van den Broek writes.

The reason for Judas using a kiss

In the canonical bible the apostle Judas betrays Jesus in exchange for money by using a kiss to identify him leading to Jesus' arrest. This apocryphal tale explains that the reason Judas used a kiss, specifically, is because Jesus had the ability to change shape.

"Then the Jews said to Judas: How shall we arrest him (Jesus), for he does not have a single shape but his appearance changes. Sometimes he is ruddy, sometimes he is white, sometimes he is red, sometimes he is wheat coloured, sometimes he is pallid like ascetics, sometimes he is a youth, sometimes an old man ..." This leads Judas to suggest using a kiss as a means to identify him. If Judas had given the arresters a description of Jesus he could have changed shape. By kissing Jesus Judas tells the people exactly who he is.

Religious Mysteries: 8 Alleged Relics of Jesus

This understanding of Judas' kiss goes way back. "This explanation of Judas' kiss is first found in Origen (a theologian who lived A.D. 185-254)," van den Broek writes. In his work, Contra Celsum the ancient writerOrigen, stated that "to those who saw him he did not appear alike to all."

Yes Susan it was a Tuesday Evening on March 27th, 31D Julian as Thuban has published a number of times. This becomes March 25th, 31AD Gregorian proleptic and 'explains' the two days in the conventional Easter Week as rendering a Passion Wednesday Julian as a 'Good Friday' Gregorian.
At least that part of the 'shapeshifting' (I prefer to link it to the 'transfiguration' of Matthew.17.1-7 and Mark.9.1-8) appears historically validated, as does this archeological find in general.
You can check the calibration here.
