    Michael Jackson - always in our hearts

    #MichaelJackson loved drawing and painting from a young age.
    Being the perfectionist he was, he never was quite satisfied with his art.
    After seeing a painting by #DavidNordahl in 1988,
    Michael rang the artist and asked him to be his teacher.

    First Nordahl declined, but soon the two befriended each other
    and Nordahl became Michael's portraitist, teacher and trusted advisor.

    He had this to say about Michael:

    "I am convinced that if Michael had devoted himself to art,
    he would have been a great artist,
    but if he devoted himself to be a preacher,
    he would have been a great preacher.
    If he devoted himself to being a doctor,
    he would have been a great doctor.
    So it did not really matter what he chose."
