The six pointed star is an stellated hexagonal polygon made
from upwards and downwards facing intersecting triangles.

It appears in different cultures and it is symbolized by dozens of philosophies throughout the world
— but always representing the same meaning: Polarity in Unity.

From this concept whole systems of philosophies arise.

The Hexagram carries the same meaning of the Yin-Yang symbol and many others such as the Ouroboros
or the Flower of Life, representing the universal substance which composes all dynamics and structures
through its polarized unity. In essence it represents the oneness of everything and how it expresses
complementing poles of the same force
— from opposing directions perpetual cyclical motion is manifest.

We see this phenomenon in electromagnetism, where its poles creates opposing forces,
generating a self-sustaining cyclic motion through balanced contraction and expansion at the same time.

From this process all motion and forms are manifest
— simple systems become complex in the first place because of this simple polarized dynamic
which creates cycles through attraction and repulsion.

This process isn't made from two things, it is in fact one substance with opposing complementary forces.
One pole cannot exist without the other, they are expressions of the same energy.

The universal substance that enables all cycles and polarities to manifest in the dynamics
and structures of all systems is known as electromagnetism
— the fundamental force of electricity, magnetism and light
— all of this things are expressions of a single energy, and they can be converted in all elements
needed to create and sustain the cosmos and life as we know it.

All matter is electromagnetic in nature, without it atoms could not make bonds
and create molecules that forms our reality or ourselves
— this force is what holds us and the entire universe together.

Electromagnetism can be converted into light, electricity, magnetism, heat, cycles, motion
and enables all components to be integrated into a single system, creating life.

Who Was Marcel Vogel?
From an IBM Researcher to a Crystal Healer

Marcel Vogel was a German-born chemist who, after moving to the US, worked for IBM from 1956–1966. During this time he developed a number of patents for IBM that improved the efficiency of microchip technologies. He also developed an interest in crystal healing, which led him to spend a lot of time creating perfumes and essential oils during his off-hours.
Marcel Vogel worked for IBM in San Jose for 27 years as a research scientist. He received numerous patents for his inventions during this time. The magnetic coating for the 24" hard disc drive systems still in use was one of them. Among his specialties were phosphor technology, liquid crystal systems, luminescence, and magnetics.
He then left IBM in 1966 to take over as head of research and development at Aromazone Inc., which is where he invented a technique called vibrational medicine. This technique uses sound waves to break up water molecules into a crystalline state.
Later on in his life, Marcel did pioneering work on man-plant communication in the 1970s. This led to the study of quartz crystals and the creation of the Vogel-cut crystal. Vogel-cut crystals are instruments that store, amplify, convert, and cohere subtle energies.
He also researched the therapeutic applications of quartz crystals, which led him to investigate crystals’ relationship with water. Water could be structured by spinning it around a tuned crystal, changing many of its characteristics, and converting it into an information storage system.

There are a myriad of sources, in books and on the Internet, where you may learn about healing with crystals. Their focus and complexity, like the crystals themselves, come in many assorted flavors. Mainly, this data consists of sincere teachings by alternative therapists. But if you research the subject, you also will find reams of other material about crystals – claims, sometimes hyperbolic, of those who sell them; texts so technical that they are virtually unreadable by the layman; and channeled discourses of Ascended Masters and other Extra-Terrestrial informants – to name a few. In all of this plethora of information, one source, one man, stands above the rest. His name is Marcel Vogel. In this article, we will refer to him, as his friends did, as Marcel – to distinguish him from the Vogel, or ''Vogel-cut crystal,'' which was his legacy. We spoke with Rumi Da, Marcel's protégé, close friend, and the steward of Marcel's crystal technology, who told us this revealing story:

The last time I was with Marcel, it was his 49th wedding anniversary and he was 72 years old. We were looking in his notebook, and then he closed it, with a really deep sigh, and he said, ''You know, sometimes I think I should stop this work because it's so potentially dangerous.'' A month later, he was gone. At Marcel's funeral, in 1991, the eulogy, delivered by a medical doctor, includes a description of the man and his accomplishments: Those of us who are scientists or physicians and who worked with Marcel Vogel were well aware of his scientific achievements: his extraordinary work with phosphors, bioluminescence, luminescent paints, and the design of magnetic-disc coatings in computers.

He was one of the most prolific scientists in IBM history, with over 100 patents in his name. Yet, until his recent honorary Ph.D., he possessed no official university degree. He made his mark because of the brilliance of his mind, his prolific ideas, and his seemingly limitless creativity. (Eulogy by Dr. Bernard McGinty ) Rumi Da admits that, although Marcel was a scientist's scientist who normally chose to interact with officialdom from that model, he was really a shaman, pure and simple. ''Marcel often held workshops for people in the medical profession,'' Rumi Da said. ''They would walk in as MD's, and walk out wearing feathers.'' The Vogel Crystal: Marcel's Legacy Not to minimize Marcel Vogel's 100-plus patents and his awesome vision, he made two overwhelmingly important contributions to building the necessary bridge between science and Spirit. The first is central to this article: He developed a way of cutting quartz crystals in order to magnify their power exponentially for healing purposes.
