yup yup the typical "theories", some proclaime as "fact" are all over the alt scene - you actually have to dig through this stuff to catch some news and updates on whats going on - rather than the projections and postulations of the suspicious (hey I have suspicions too, it is creepy stuff that always seems to progress things towards a place long predicted by many)

to address the patent issue - just about every bug or genetic sequence "of any significance" on the planet has a patent on it - which has promoted question of ethical concerns

mostly on the issue of patenting life forms (think monsanto) in business and health ethics (should life itself be a business one can make money off of?)

big (and even small) pharma gene sequencers want to own the rights for new finds to be researched further or even cured via treatment or vaccination - while most normal people don't watch this stuff, interested money makers try to give just about everything a market value to generate ...a market (even water -and for gods sake even carbon now)

not everything is a conspiracy - but it can sure be spun that way (it sure seems creepy) - and it generates a lot of website hits - website hits are a market too so people will print just about anything to draw attention to their website or blog - sensationalism abounds...because most people want life to be a sensation - action packed non stop thrills with death or treasure just over the next hill - or just one click away

I think was Wilcock who coined the term "fear porn" or maybe it was "doom porn" - cant remember but porn is addictive - I think I have flirted with the addiction to fear porn from time to time myself

CDC claims ownership of virus
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for instance, claims ownership of the virus and its entire genetic content. Rather than trying to profit if such a patent were awarded, the CDC says its application is to prevent others from monopolizing the field.

“The whole purpose of the patent is to prevent folks from controlling the technology,” said CDC spokesman Llelwyn Grant. “This is being done to give the industry and other researchers reasonable access to the samples.”

Regardless of motive, the race to patent the SARS virus has revived the debate about the ethics of a pivotal U.S. Supreme Court ruling in 1980 that cleared the way for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to award patents for living things, most notably individual human genes. SOURCE
and to be honest - I have been way overexposed to the "chicken little" perspectives permeating the internet

if "they" wanted you dead - you would be dead already - 7 times over - it would just take one accidental push of the nuke button - buttons "they" have access to and not you BTW - anytime "they" wanted - so if you aren't dead by now them maybe there is some paranoia associated with some conspiracy - take it all with a grain of salt

so what kind of plot does the forced vaccination meme accomplish again? in light of the long list of vaccinations we already DO have to get - what is so special about this one? ...maybe it is just money? I don't think "they" is of one mind - that "they" are a reflection of "we" at our worst ...and our best too - what ever we as a species decide to tolerate and what ever suffering we will allow before we decide to change things

people who write those articels many time put them on their sites to generate traffic and revenue .. have some respect for those who do the work of writing the articels

in any case it has been how long sense we had a pandemic when someone can be from one side of the planet to the other in 12 hours and their is virtually no screening ..more people will die of the flue in the Usa .. than of ebola in africa at this point .

if you are at you mothers house when the american doctors come .. ask them the questions

i am not personally afraid of ebola or getting beheaded by isis ..i am more worried about what is in the food i eat so i eat a little processed food as possible..

or at least food with ingrediant i can pronounce ...,.we are still at greater rist from what we eat than any virus

Three weeks ago, hundreds of thousands of us went offline to fight climate change. This week, we're going offline to stop Ebola.

The Ebola virus is spiraling out of control. Cases in West Africa are doubling every 2-3 weeks and the latest estimate says that up to 1.4 million people could be infected by mid-January. At that scale, this monster threatens the entire world.

Previous Ebola outbreaks have been repeatedly contained at small numbers. But the scale of this current epidemic has swamped the region's weak health systems. EBOLA CAMPS? FOX ANALYST CALLS FOR QUARANTINE CAMPS IN EVERY CITY

“They shouldn’t be letting people go into regular hospitals"

Fox News, always ahead of the curve on panicking the general public into giving up all their rights, aired programming Monday during which an analyst openly called for quarantine camps to be set up all over the country to house those with Ebola like symptoms.
Fox contributor and former actress Stacey Dash called for the federal government to establish emergency centers to hold Americans in isolation, despite the fact that there have only been two confirmed cases of the ebola virus in the US.

“I think they should set up special centers for just Ebola in each state,” Dash said. “They shouldn’t be letting people go into regular hospitals, where it could be spread.”

“I just think that for this specific disease, we should have a special facility with specially trained people,” Dash added. “In each city. That way it’s not spread, and when the person walks in, they know what they’re looking for, they know if they find it, they know how to contain it. And they know how not to infect themselves.”
The controversial proposal comes in the wake of a string of calamitous errors in the handling of the Eric Duncan case, and disturbing revelations that US hospitals are woefully unprepared to deal with potential Ebola cases.
In Duncan’s case, up to 70 staffers at Texas Presbyterian Hospital were involved in caring for him, with one nurse now becoming the first person to be infected within the US.
In the same Fox News program, Comedian Paul Mecurio, who was also on the panel for some reason, supported Dash’s call for Ebola camps, stating “There’s a really bad health protocol throughout the United States right now, it’s called going to the hospital.”
The panel then clamoured for big government to step in and save America from Ebola, suggesting creating an Ebola czar and throwing former New York City Mayor Rudy Guliani’s name into the ring.
It is not that far fetched to imagine Ebola camps being set up. Indeed, it is only a step away from the current calls by U.S. and local health officials to set up dedicated hospitals in each state for Ebola patients.
“We’d like to have at least one hospital in every state that does feel they could manage a patient from start to finish,” said Abbigail Tumpey, the CDC official in charge of the education outreach. So far, the new system is only in the discussion stage, and one issue is that there are currently only four U.S. hospitals with top-level bio-containment units.”
As Infowars has noted, the CDC has instructed funeral homes to bury Ebola victims in hermetically sealed caskets, a potentially disturbing revelation given reports that the federal agency had previously purchased thousands of air tight coffin liners which were being stored in Madison, Georgia.
In addition, former Border Patrol Agent Zach Taylor has divulged that the CDC is working with Border Patrol authorities and the Department of Homeland Security to disappear potential Ebola victims attempting to cross the border into the United States, putting them into quarantine in an unknown location.
In August, former FDA official Scott Gottlieb, M.D. wrote in Forbes that the CDC will invoke powers to “hold a healthy person against his will” in the event of an Ebola outbreak, warning that the feds may assume “too much jurisdiction to detain people involuntarily,” leading to “spooky scenarios where people could be detained for long periods, merely on a suspicion they might have been exposed to some pathogen. And forced to submit to certain medical interventions to gain their freedom.”
An executive order signed by President Obama at the end of July also allows for the “apprehension, detention, or conditional release of individuals to prevent the introduction, transmission, or spread of suspected communicable diseases.”
