My relationship with the stones of the earth began over 30 years ago.

There are an infinite number of possible religions and political-systems -- and an even greater number of possible interpretations and applications!! I generally support religious and political freedom -- but at what point does it all become a rebellious and confused mess?? The Torah is highly-intolerant regarding religious and political freedom. The rest of the Old Testament is more accommodating. The New Testament loosens things up even more BUT the Book of Revelation goes right back to the same old fire and brimstone torture and extermination of those who don't think and do exactly as they're told. American-Christians support religious and political freedom -- yet they wish to "Go to Heaven" where (if I read my Bible correctly) there will be no religious and political freedom. I'm sorry to keep commenting in this manner -- but the basic arguments and principles connected with this line of thinking are foundational regarding the evaluation of existing and expected civilizations -- terrestrial and extra-terrestrial.

I wonder how our lives would be if we never cluttered up our minds with the Torah, the Old Testament, the New Testament or any other religious ideology. I think the Native American view of spirituality is far more spiritual fulfilling then most religious doctrines.

How to Improve Your Relationship With One Simple Word
Behold the magic of the word "we"

Want to give something different this Valentine’s Day? Something that only you can give? How about a pronoun? A what? A pronoun. The pronoun “we” to be specific. Not romantic enough for you? Well, check this out:

Researcher Robert Levenson and colleagues at University of California, Berkeley, have been eavesdropping on our relationships and found couples who use the word "we" when talking, especially about difficult things, are happier, calmer, exhibit more positive emotional behavior, have les negative automatic arousal (i.e. heart pumping adrenaline and anxiety) and in general are more satisfied with their relationships (think: affection, respect, intimacy) than couples whose communication is more populated by the pronouns you, me and I. Those folks had more negative facial expressions, negative tones of voice and body postures (think: disdain, rejection, animosity). OK—quick pick: Which emotional experience do you want to cultivate in your relationship this Valentine's Day—and in general?

When you see a couple in that relationship bubble of “we”—and let’s face it, it’s easy to spot the trust, love, and spark of these couples—you want some of that for your relationship. And you start to understand why traditional wedding vows talk about a love that no one can put asunder. What builds asunder-proof love? Connection.
What builds and reveals the connection in your relationship? Not big gifts, nor necessarily big deep conversations, as they are more occasional events. No, it’s the little things—the little words that you use every day that reveal the nature of your connection and the very mission of your relationship. Researchers find that pronouns shape and reveal the ways we interpret what is going on between us: “we” words set off a program of connection, “you” words set off a program of separateness.
So, whether things are great: “We’re pregnant!” “We’re in love!” “We’re getting married!” or tough: “It’s not you, or me, it’s both of us: it’s our problem and we can work it out together,” or just ordinary: “We need to clean the kitchen; then we can go to bed”—connecting with the “we” word means we aren’t alienated or alone. We are together. The person in front of you has your back, happily. The very landscape, the very representation of your relationship in your head is in the form of us, we, our, as in we’re in this together. Versus phrasing things in terms of: you, me, I—as in I’m not happy and you (and your messiness, bossiness, coldness) are the problem!
Where does the fun begin?
When we are thinking “we” our bodies respond in kind. The magic of this word we is that it’s a game-changer. When we say “we” we set in motion a “connectedness” program in the brain (and body) and so that rather than being in survival mode (think: you against me), we can be creative, generous, collaborative and loving whether we are cleaning up cat barf or making love. Because generous is what you do with people who are your friends not your foes.
When we phrase our complaints or observations in terms of “you” our tone is accusatory and pop! goes the relationship bubble. Now it’s more like a relationship tribunal and there will be a sentence with one person left standing. It gets our amygdala (brain alarm system) firing for both the accuser and the accusee. In moments of crisis, the evolutional priority is to get out of harm’s way, and the physiological equivalent of protecting yourself from wooly mammoths or other dangers isn’t exactly conducive to romance.
Maybe it’s easiest to understand the power of the word we by thinking of the alternative—the word “you.” When someone says you to us in the context of: “you never do x, why did you do y?, you don’t care, etc.,” we feel attacked. Anxiety and adrenaline prevent us from remembering that the person saying these words (in a weak moment in response to their own anxiety and adrenaline) is the person who loves us and is the protector not the threat.
The fact is, relationships are a table for two. And if you want to luxuriate at the table with your partner, rather than one (or both) of you wanting to sneak out a window, hail a cab and be outta there, make sure that your language is the connected kind.
Now, if you are worried that “we” will somehow be a loophole for someone getting off the hook, and if someone does something wrong, they should have to own up, consider this: How do we own up best? When we feel threatened or when we feel safe? So say: “I want us to be honest with each other. Our relationship needs our trust,” rather than: “you never fess up! I can’t trust you!”
One more thing… if any part of you is suffering from a touch of “we-phobia” afraid that this means that you lose your identity and are subsumed or swallowed up in the mush of not knowing where one person ends and the other begins, take heart. Thinking in terms of “we” doesn’t mean you lose yourself in your marriage, it means that there are now two people on the job of looking out for you instead of just one. So… here are a few ideas to get the emotional program in your relationship moving in the direction of connection rather than separation:
Start the magic show yourself: Offer “we” or “us” statements out of the blue: “Let’s watch a movie tonight,” or “What do you want to do tonight?” versus: disappearing in front of the TV without saying a word. Or, say: “I’m really tired. Let’s go up to bed,” instead of “I’m tired, I’m going to bed”…or simply the disappearing thing again.
Use your x-ray vision: Translate a “you” from your partner into a “we”: Realize that we all want to stay connected. So when your partner says—“you always want to stay downstairs at night! What’s wrong with you?! don’t you want to be together?!” You could get defensive and attack back, but instead you could see past the surface words your partner is saying and translate the underlying message: “We need to spend more time together. I want that too.
We need to take care of us.” If you throw in a “you’re right, I totally agree” you get extra credit!
Catch your own yous and accusations: Do a save if you have started with you. “You never want me to hang out with my friends” becomes—
“I want you to be happy, and I want us to be happy too—how can we make this work for both of us? Let’s make a plan that we both like.”
Ask for help; connection and collaboration guaranteed: Want to stay in “we” mode but don’t know how to get there?
Magically, just by asking for help with this (with the added bonus of admitting that you don’t know how to do something) you have opened up the door for collaboration. You’re back at the relationship table, you’re in the bubble, you’re working together.
Switch off days for being on “we” duty: Because we all fall prey to separateness or accusation mode, build in some security.
Designate someone to be listening for the “yous” and kindly, humorously, or even flirtatiously rephrase them into “we.”
So for Valentine’s Day, and every day, together, be that “we” couple. In good times and bad, stay above the grid-lock of local traffic
(carpooling, doing dishes, paying bills) and reconnect with the big picture by doing what happy couples do: collaborate and connect.

Be your best selves and best partners, and let those little plural pronouns be the secret agents in the big mission of your love

That's a wonderful tale, about UBUNTU, Susan and a great picture with children's feet joining to create a circle.
I can't relate much to your posts of today before that one, for it's not "talking" to me, maybe later it will.

Regarding the 13 aspects of our "self" I tend to see the cycle of 13 Maya-numbers as the 13 melodies of
creation. To me that's connected to the existence of 13 (sub)personalities present at the same time within
us, when looking at it from a Universal point of view, no matter if those are real matter or do matter at all

I share this view with you, that an attitude of holding a relationship as a "we" is a beautiful way of bonding,
within the commitment of having outspoken that to each other, as a promise to live by, making efforts.
To me, that shouldn't mean that they both should "walk on eggs" to avoid behavior that falls outside that form.

For in that way, an old paradigm will be attached to a new one, a mix of "I" and "WE". When that's present, for
sure that "mixed bag" is a guarantee for holding on to that "I" behavior, while in an heated argument, to prove
the other partner wrong, in the YES and NO swing of arguing with that welcome old devil called polarity
I've been active in sorting out that "mixed bag" within me, lately, hence my sharing of a view on this.
I welcome your view and those of others here, for I like to learn and understand, always.

Although much is changing, we live here on this planet with all sorts of antics in the circus of our lives, training
our muscles each day, also long forgotten ones that now are needed, metaphorically speaking. Sometimes we
fall and sometimes we rise above ourselves in the performance and action of our daily lives, no matter where.

I see both incidents, fall and brilliance as legitimate, when I stop looking at them from polarity consciousness.
Looking from an overview position, which joins my compassionate heart, a relationship may be flourishing in
the mutual commitment of "we" while also moments of friction and quarreling are allowed and okay to be present.

In the moment that partners find themselves in arguing, they can remind themselves and each other to that
commitment of "we" and make peace. This requires attunement and great timing, for earthware might be in
pieces due to a wrong timing of that reminder

Stepping out of the "mixed bag",still allows discussing the details of the issue and to sort it out. It's a dynamic
of both paradigms, old and new, in swing. Like a pendulum in motion, finding a point of stillness when a dynamic
of some sorts has been removed.

For that "transition" from "I" to "WE" we sometimes may be in need of training new muscles, as I see it. The
occasional chagrin and nagging is a human natural habit and deeply ingrained, specically when we humans have
a tough job in clearing karma, or even creating it while trying In solving issues that begin to rise to the surface
from bygone eons and remembered days and in need to be addressed in the days and years to come. Or not.

I think it's a valuable subject to ponder, for lots of issues begin to surface now, that have been slumbering for a
long time, causing moodswings and irritation, despair and donwheartedness in that process. To say "hello" to them
and look at them as legitimate, while exploring in a gentle way, what's really the matter, with the senses of our body
awake and lively and a love for ourselves in okayness to be nr. 1 in that place, within the temple of our body and our
emotions, expressed in creative ways or any way that feels appropriate. is very helpful, bringing comfort and healing.

Waking up to who we truly are, sometimes requires to become aware of our inner parents, taking care of ourselves
in a way we have missed when we were young. All that can be and is inherent to living in an attitude of "WE" at the
same time. That process is a natural one, as I see it, we shouldn't forget, I think, that this surfacing is supposed to
happen in order to make way for a new step, in new territory, where awareness is present with self-reflection and
love unconditional.

Until that moment, much emotional upheavel will show up and we shouldn't approach that with eyes accustomed
to a "WE" awareness, expecting others to "get that", before they even have begun to step on that path of transition
from "I" to "WE" and who are still in need to end the "I" awareness. Or not, which may be the case as well, in freedom.

That's what I meant in another post here, when I mentioned selfishness as an okay thing as long as hurting is present
and has become energy-consuming, but ready to begin the healing. For how many of us are fleeing from that hurting
by busying ourselves with the outside world and try to ignore it? And find ways to sublimate our hurting by making up
excuses for actions in the outside world, abusing others in games of power and lust? Or disappear in veils online?

To process that hurting, while healing, one should be allowed to be utterly selfish, to focus one's energy on resto-
ration of one's own wellbeing and balance in wellness. Metaphorically speaking, it's similar to a recovering patient,
weakened after a long period of sickness, which can't be expected to secure an oilplatform, on its own, while a
hurricane passes by. Bob Dylon sang once "The answer is blowing in the wind". I like to make pictures of signs
written in the sand, for the laws of nature are magical and reveal their secrets to those with eyes to see and

Star of David faceted Quartz Crystal
